Artist's Statement

Several years ago, I moved to Oregon after 25 years in Southeast Alaska where the weather in any given month can be like western Oregon in January. I fell in love with the Oregon spring, especially the voluptuous blossoming trees and falling flowers. Many of my pictures are visual haiku poems of this season, of moments of beauty and the fragile transience of beauty. I also like to do narrative poem montages of two or more images that wander into dream territory.

Process

Images are printed and framed to archival quality using an Epson wide-format printer, Epson pigmented inks, Epson Enhanced Matte paper or Hannemuhle Photo Rag, and Nielsen Bainbridge archival frames with acid-free 8-ply mats, backing boards and uv-resistant glass. Prints are soft-mounted to the mat with linen hanging tape.

All prints are available in various sizes, as well as matted-only and print-only, if you choose to do your own framing. Please contact me if you would like to buy one of my pieces, or if you have any questions about them. Thanks for visiting!
